Zuzu's new friends

It was a beautiful morning, but Zuzu was so sad! She missed (دلتنگ کسی) her friends. She could not leave ( ترك كردن ) the court-yard ( حیاط ) to visit ( برای بازدید ) them. Nani (grandmother) came out of the house to sit with her. "Did you know," said Nani, "that the wind ( باد ) is a friend?"
     "How can the wind be a friend," asked Zuzu?
     "Every day it comes to kiss ( بوسیدن ) your face!" laughed Nani. "That is a good friend, Yes?"
     Zuzu smiled.
     "The sky and clouds ( آسمان و ابرها ) are your friends too," said Nani. "They paint (رنگ زدن) pictures for you."

Nani showed Zuzu a flower with a cater-pillar ( کرم ابریشم ) on it. "Look," said Nani, "here is a friend!  He's an acrobat (آکروبات). He is doing tricks ( انجام بدلکاری ) for you so you will laugh ( خنده ). Zuzu, you have so many friends!  They are all around you. Before it is time for dinner, see how many friends you can find ( پیدا کردن ) and then come tell me."
     "O.K." said Zuzu, smiling.
