A mother in India had 3 young daughters. She loved her daughters. She worked hard to care ( اهميت دادن ) for them. But they were very, very poor ( فقیر ). They were members of the lower caste ( پایین ترین گروه ) of people in India. That made their lives full of sorrow
( پر از غم ) because they were hated ( منفور ).
One day a man robbed ( دزدیده شده ) the mother of all the money she had. That day was too hard ( بیشتر از اونی که میتونست تحمل کنه ) for her. She bought ( خریدن ) a bottle of juice
( آب میوه ) and put poison ( سم ) in it. Her little daughters were hungry ( گرسنه ). She gave them the juice. She kissed ( بوسید ) them and tole them she loved them. Then she drank
( نوشیدند ) the juice too. She hoped they all would die ( بمیر ) and be free from suffering
( رهایی از رنج ).
But they all lived ( آنها زنده ماندند ).
The mother felt ( حس کردن ) a love higher
( بالاتر ) than human love. This higher love
( عشق بالاتر ) helped her live. Her family was given a second chance ( شانس دوم ) to live. She wanted to live! She wanted her daughters to live! That higher love gave her joy. It gave her hope. She felt loved for the first time. She got work in a factory ( کارخانه پوشاک ). Each day she worked more than 14 hours. Her two older daughters started school. Then the mother heard ( او شنید ) of a school for the poor. Her youngest ( جوان ترین ) daughter, Kasuma, was accepted ( پذیرفته شده ). She was 4 years old. She lived and studied at the school until she was 18.
( نجاتش داد ), wanted to use ( برای استفاده ) her life to help others.
This year Kasuma earned ( بدست آوردن ) a place at a college in America. When she finishes ( برای تکمیل ) college she will go back to India to help ( برای کمک به ) her country. She knows it is possible ( ممکن است ) for her people to succeed
( موفق شدن ) and have a good life. She knows you have to look forward ( به جلو نگاه کن ) and keep trying ( به تلاش ادامه بده ). She knows that when you think you can't try anymore, a higher love comes and helps you.
