#14: A letter for you





Dear Friend,
     At difficult ( دشوار ) times in my life, I surround
( خودم را احاطه کنم ) myself with art ( هنر ). During the winter I make paintings ( نقاشی ) almost every day. And, summer and winter, the plants ( گیاهان ) in my house need my care ( مراقبت کردن ). I write stories and personal essays ( مقالات شخصی ). I read things that inspire ( الهام می بخشد ) me. Using creativity ( خلاقیت ), which we all have, keeps me strong and calm
( قوی و آرام ).

     Not seeing friends is so hard. Not being able to hug ( در آغوش گرفتن ) family who are separated from us ( از ما جدا شد ) is the worst ( بدترین ). Sometimes it makes you cry ( گریه کردن ), not for yourself, but because of all the suffering ( رنج کشیدن ). And then one day you hear an inner voice ( صدای درونی ) say, What are you going to do to help someone else?

     Listening ( گوش دادن ) to this voice has always helped me! So I reach out to someone else whenever I feel like I’m getting down (getting sad). There are lots of ways you can do that. You can write an email to a friend. You can draw a picture for a family member or write a story for your little brother or sister.

     Just stay strong! (
! قوی باش ) You are needed in our world.  And remember to always live in H.O.P.E. (Help Other People Everyday)
