One day a caterpillar (کرم ابریشم) was left alone (تنها) on a small stick. She didn't know what was
happening (اتفاق می افتد). She didn't know that something strong was taking
care of ( مراقبت می کند ) her. But she felt ( او حس کرد ) some- thing changing inside her. She held ( برای نگه داشتن ) on to the stick and, in a few days, all around ( در اطراف او ) her were walls ( دیوارها ). She was afraid she would never ( هرگز ) go out into the fresh air ( هوای تازه ) again.
Some days there were dark, black skies. Some days it rained hard!
Some days the wind blew
( باد وزید ) so much she thought it would blow her away. All the little caterpillar could do was wait ( منتظر بماند ). She didn't know that sometimes waiting ( در انتظار ) can be a friend. While ( در حالی که ) the caterpillar waited, she was
changing (او در حال تغییر بود). She was
changing inside(داخل تغییر کرد)
Then one day the sun came out. The walls of her little house opened and she was a beautiful butterfly (پروانه). Did you know that the Love that takes care of
(برای مراقبت از) a butterfly is taking care of you? Just wait and see.
Get some paper and write down ways you are changing. 1) What new things have you learned this year? 2) What new qualities
( کیفیت ها ) do you have? 3) How are you stronger ( قوی تر )?
