#37 Able to grow

There is a forest ( جنگل ) in Poland with 400 amazing trees that all have curved trunks
(تنه های خمیده). The trees were planted (کاشتن) during World War II. The people who planted them had to leave their homes and could not take care of ( نتوانست مراقبت کند ) them. Today the trees teach us a beautiful lesson.
Why do the trees have this unusual shape ( شکل غیر معمول )? When the trees were very little and frail ( نحیف ) there was a terrible storm ( طوفان باران ). The strong wind and rain flattened ( مسطح کردن ) the trees on the ground ( زمین ). Like
this:  —   —   —

But
the trees were not dead. Inside (داخل) a tree is the ability ( توانایی ) to reorient itself ( جهت گیری مجدد ) . (This is true for all living things.) Trees naturally (به طور طبیعی) turn ( چرخیدن ) toward the sun. When they were flat — — — on the ground, they were really pulling themselves up ( ود را بالا می کشند ) to the sun.
The sun is stronger ( قوی تر ) than storms and so, after a few years, the trees were straight and strong (  مستقیم و قوی ). The storm could not stop them from growing strong.

What does this story teach you about your life?
